Last week I worked with Dunkin Donuts to create a video sharing some of my favorite no-bake Halloween treats you can make using a few yummy donuts, so I figured I’d share the step-by-step process for making them here on the blog.
Before I continue, let me just say that I’m not crafty AT ALL. I honestly surprised myself with how cute these Halloween treats turned out, so if I was able to make them, I promise – you can too.

1. Mummy Muffins
This is probably the easiest no-bake Halloween treat that exists on the planet, so you really can’t mess this one up.
What you need:
- full size or mini muffins (I used Dunkin’s pumpkin flavored muffin, so I highly recommend pumpkin)
- vanilla frosting (I used this super basic Pillsbury frosting)
- candy eyeballs (you can buy a huge pack of them on Amazon here)
Directions:
- literally just frost the entire top of the muffin (the key here is to frost in different directions to create lines that mimic those mummy bandages)
- then add two candy eyeballs and you’re all done
2. Graveyard Ghosts
This one’s probably my favorite of these no-bake Halloween treats. Just because I think they look super cute and they include a regular sized donut.
What you need:
- any kind of regular donut (I used again a pumpkin flavored donut which I think makes this a lot more Halloween themed, but feel free to use any kind of donut you like!)
- Oreo cookies
- marshmallow ghosts (here’s a pack of 3 you can order from Amazon)
- vanilla frosting
- a toothpick
Directions:
- take your donut and frost it on the top with the vanilla frosting
- take a few Oreo cookies and remove the filling
- put them in a ziplock and smash them until you have crumbs
- pour the curbs on top of the frosting
- take the marshmallow ghost, put a toothpick through the bottom of it, and sit it on top of the donut
3. Munchkin Ghosts + Ghouls
See that little guy sitting next to the graveyard ghost? That’s seriously so easy to make. I made him a little white ghost, but you can also use different colored frosting (green, purple, blue, etc) to make ghouls just like him.
What you need:
- Munchkin type donuts
- frosting
- candy eyeballs
Directions:
- frost the tiny munchkin donut in whichever color frosting you like
- place two or three or five eyeballs onto the frosting
4. Donut Spiders
How stinking cute are these two little Halloween treats? These were probably the most difficult to make just because first of all, black icing gets all over your hands and is super messy, and also, the little munchkin donuts are fragile and will break apart if you’re not careful, so just a heads up about that.
What you need:
- munchkin type donuts
- candy eyeballs
- black icing (I imagine you can use food coloring and add it to the vanilla frosting, but I used something similar to this that I found at Publix)
- pretzel sticks
Directions:
- frost the munchkin donut with the black icing
- add the candy eyeballs
- very carefully stick the pretzels into the side (don’t push in too hard or the donut will crumble)

5. Donut Bats
Same concept here with the messiness of the icing, but I think these turned out super cute too.
What you need:
- munchkin type donuts
- black icing
- candy eyeballs
- oreo cookies
Directions:
- frost the munchkin donut with the black icing
- add the candy eyeballs
- take a quarter or a half of one side of an Oreo cookie and push into the side for the wings
6. Halloween Donut Bouquet (okay, here’s an extra one)
This is such a cute Halloween treat and you can definitely do this with donuts that you can decorate from scratch, but I chose the easier route and just used already decorated donuts that I picked up at Dunkin. Seriously, these were so darn good.
What you need:
- 5 or so regular sized donuts
- a pack of skewers (like these)
- any cute Halloween tin (I got this one at the Dollar Tree)
- styrofoam to put in the tin (something like this)
- spider webbing (I found a pack at the Dollar Tree but it looked like this)
Directions:
- put the styrofoam in the tin
- take two skewers for each donut and stick the donuts through them
- stick the donut skewers into the tin, through the styrofoam
- depending on how tall you want each donut to be, just cut the skewers
- add the spider webbing to create that spooky smokey effect
