Alright sooooo let’s start off with the fact that I’m not much of a home decor kinda gal. The idea of decorating for the holidays has always intimidated me, but I decided to give it a solid shot this year because it’s 2020 and could this process be any worse than everything else going on in the world? I think not.
So I did challenge myself and I bought a few fall home decor pieces this year, and here’s how everything turned out. I’ll also be linking anything I can find that’s still available for you guys in case you’d like to do a little shopping yourselves.
Entrance
Michael’s had really cute fall signs this year, so I added one of those next to the door, and I also decked out my house in buffalo check. I love this rug from Target, and the pillow on the seat there is actually a pillow cover I bought on Amazon.
I also added a few cute fall pieces on my tv console just to make things a little more festive.

And I fell in love with this little fox, so now he hangs out here on this table.
Dining Room
I kept the dining room pretty simple this year with the exception of the new garland and a few cute pumpkins. I love the material of them, and they go with that rustic-ish vibe in this room.
Living Room
I love that I finally have a fireplace mantle to decorate for all the seasons, so here’s what that looked like. I added a cute banner, a super pretty amber vase with some florals I picked up at Target, and more of those buffalo check pillow covers on the couch.
Kitchen
This kitchen area is where we spend a lot of our time as a family, so I tried to incorporate some fall decor into each of the many spaces here.
I love our dinette table and these new placemats I found, and I think the galvanized milk jug with the flowers add a nice pop of fall color which I really like.
I also love how my tiered tray turned out. This was my first time styling a tiered tray, so for my first shot at that, I think I did a pretty decent job. Oh, and my little bird friend is also one of my favorite pieces I picked up this year.
Here are a few more photos of the different corners of my kitchen!
Coffee Bar
And lastly I’ll leave you with my coffee bar. The hubby and I love us a good cup of coffee, so I loved having this space to decorate this year. I added a few pumpkins that were already in my collection from previous years, a couple copper mugs, and a cute hand towel with a pumpkin pie recipe that I just might try this season.
And that’s it for now! I did also decorate my master bedroom and our guest bathroom, so if you want the full tour kind of in person, check out my YouTube video here:
Love you guys, and happy fall!
