It’s been two weeks since our baby’s gender reveal party, so I thought I’d share a few photos and video from the big day!
We’ve been calling our baby “little peanut” since day one, so we thought it’d be super appropriate to have an elephant-themed gender reveal party and let me just say, everything came out perfect.

Huge shoutout to my mom and my sister for planning such a beautiful day for us! Legit- they really ought to be party planners.
Joe and I couldn’t wait to finally find out if we were having a baby boy or a baby girl! Earlier that week we had our baby’s anatomy scan, but we told the technician we didn’t want to know the gender until our party. So we closed our eyes during specific parts of the scan, and the technician handed us an envelope with the gender inside so we could give it to our cake lady. Sure, I was tempted to open it, but I didn’t. I behaved.

And I mean seriously, how gorgeous was this dress? I felt so beautiful and comfortable and my bump looked perfect in it!

We recorded the big reveal, so if you want to check it out, skip to the 2-minute mark below. Hands down, one of the best moments of my life.
We were in absolute shock. I was 100% convinced we were having a baby boy, so when the cake came out pink, I was floored.
And boy was that cake pink.
I honestly think Joe was even more excited than I was. He’s dead-set on making sure our baby’s a daddy’s little girl and we both can’t wait to meet her!
A huge thanks to our family and friends who came out to celebrate with us! Definitely a moment we’ll never forget, and one of the happiest, for sure!

So so cute!! Congrats 🙂 Love all the details
I remembered when we got to know the gender of our upcoming little one. We had the same reaction when we knew it’s a baby girl coz we all bet it’s a boy ever since we knew I’m pregnant lol.
Congratulations on your sweet bundle of joy on the way! What a darling party!
hugs,
Christina
I love gender reveals – I need to some friends of mine to do them! Congrats on having a little girl. It looks like the party was wonderful!

This is ADORABLE! Congratulations! I’ve never heard of a gender reveal, and I love the cake concept. Very creative. Your family did a great job with everything too. It looks and sounds like it was a great day.
