I’ve never really been a fan of cleaning my house. But given that my little one’s 5 months old now and about to start crawling around everywhere, I figured that if there’s one thing I DO need to do, it’s clean the floor. The last thing I want is for her to get all dirty as she rolls around from place to place, so today I’m going to show you how to clean your floors – the quick and easy way.
AKA: the lazy girl’s guide to cleaning the floor.
Cleaning the floor with a wooden mop and a towel is just not gonna happen. I’ve got way too much on my plate and that would just be like setting myself up for failure.
But you know what I do like?
Simplicity. Ya feel me?
And that’s exactly what you get when you use the Rejuvenate Click and Clean Spray Mop System.
The new Click n Clean Multi-Surface Spray Mop System is perfect for speed cleaning across every kind of flooring surface – and that’s just what this busy work-from-home mom needs.
I literally get about 10 minutes a day to tidy up the house so this whole cleaning the floor process needs to take minutes – not hours.
What I love the most about this mop is that it’s a one-size-does-it-all kind of contraption. I hate having a bunch of cleaning equipment scattered around my house, but with this, you get a product that does more than just mop. It also comes with a grout cleaner attachment and a dusting pad, so you can get a lot more cleaning done with just one product.
It’s also super affordable – and given that our budget is pretty tight these days, that’s important. It’s really the only mop that cleans surface-to-surface for under $35 (retails for $34.97 at The Home Depot).
Oh and did I mention it’s super easy to assemble?! I suck at reading instructions and usually leave any kind of assembly to the hubby, but I put together the mop all by myself and I’m really proud of that!
So anyway, I love how easy it is to use and the fact that it transitions from dusting to scrubbing and then to cleaning. It’s super lightweight and the mop head is nice and wide meaning that I don’t have to spend forever trying to make sure I don’t miss any spots.
So here’s what I usually do when I need to clean my floors:
Step #1: Vacuum
Before I get around to mopping, I like to vacuum really quick to get all the giant crumbs and debris off the floor.
Step #2: Dust
After I’ve vacuumed, I use the white microfiber dusting pad to pick up loose dirt, hair, fur – you name it.
I mean, look at this. The postpartum hair loss is real you guys! This is my guest bathroom which I hardly ever go into and look how much hair a quick sweep picked up. So gross.
Step #3: Clean
Then I switch over to the blue microfiber cleaning pad which is perfect for everyday cleaning. I use the Rejuvenate No-Bucket Floor Cleaner and then just click and mop. So darn easy.
Step #4: Wash the Parts
Once I’m done, I throw the dusting and cleaning pads in the washing machine and I love that because it saves me from spending a fortune on replacement pads.
Step #5: Grout Deep Clean
I don’t need to do this often because my grout is pretty clean, but every once in a while I’ll go in with the grout brush adapter and the grout cleaning solution and get rid of the dirt that’s in there.
So that’s it! That’s a quick and easy way to clean your floors! If you’re interested in picking up a mop for yourself feel free to check it out here and tell me…how often do you guys clean your floors? Is multiple times a day normal? Asking for a friend.
I recently came around to using Swiffer products and lemme tell ya – it’s amazing! So long to mops and buckets!
Yes, spray mops are great! It makes the cleaning easier to do, and it just plain saves time! From what I see in your review, I like how the mop has multiple attachments to switch between. That’s really nice!
