Thank you, Kronos, for sponsoring today’s post! #WorkforceStories #1in100MM #ad
One of my absolute favorite things to do on this blog is to share different careers with you guys, and that’s exactly what I did with my very first Career Series, if you remember.
There are SO MANY different and INTERSTING careers out there, and most of them we have zero idea about.
For the most part, we grow up thinking about just a few careers. We think about being teachers, doctors, lawyers, and business people (whatever the heck that means).
But how about the other thousands of different careers out there?!
I think they’re definitely worth exploring.
That’s why I was so excited when I learned that Kronos put together this 1 in one hundred million web series.
1 in one hundred million is a site that’s devoted to sharing the personal stories of people with really important (although usually unrecognized) jobs.
But without these people and without them doing their jobs really well, chances are, their organizations would fail.
So Kronos is celebrating them, individuals who reflect the character and passion of today’s workforce, and I think it’s an awesome way to learn about jobs we know very little about.
For example, here’s Episode 19! Joe and I visited Las Vegas a couple months ago, and we did get a chance to visit the beautiful Wynn resort.
So this episode is all about Troy Mitchum, the Wynn’s VP of Security. He’s talking about what he does on a daily basis, why his job is so important, and how he got started in this industry.
Pretty cool, huh?
So if you liked learning about Troy and his job, head on over to www.1in100million.com and check out the rest of the episodes in the series!
