Before the craziness of this month sets in, I wanted to take a second to share all the details from my “little pumpkin” themed baby shower we threw a couple weeks ago for baby Riley <3
Yep, there you have it, guys! Our baby girl’s name is Riley Grace and I’ve been so overwhelmed by all the love that’s been sent our way. Given that he baby shower was at the end of October, we decided on a rustic/fall theme for the shower and I loved this little pumpkin idea.
We held the shower at my parent’s house and everything was absolutely gorgeous. From the cake to the decorations, my mom went all out to make sure that everything was perfect. Sure, she stresses a lot when she puts together parties like this, but IDK, she’s pretty damn good at it.

My mom ordered the flowers and made these beautiful arrangements.
OBSESSED with these cookies. I legit have three of them left in my fridge because they’re way too pretty to eat.
We didn’t play traditional games at the shower because I’m not a fan of baby shower games, but we did ask our guests to write down a wish for baby Riley on these cute pumpkin cutouts and that worked out perfectly. I’ll always have these sweet notes to look back at, and our baby girl will get to see just how loved she was even before she got here.
We also had our guests guess her birthday. Her official due date is December 12th, but IDK, I’m thinking she’s gonna get here a little early. We’ll see!
I also displayed a couple of my maternity photos because I love them so much. Lara Rios is an amazing photographer and I love her work to pieces. She did my engagement photos, wedding photos, and now my maternity ones. You can check out more of the photos from my maternity shoot here.
And then for our guestbook, we used this super cute children’s book, The Very Best Pumpkin. I love that whenever I read this to Riley, I’ll be reminded of her baby shower and all of our family and friends who came out to celebrate her.
It was such a good day surrounded by so much love and one that I won’t soon forget.
I think at this point I was 33 weeks pregnant though, and I was already feeling super tired.
Joe was obviously included since this wouldn’t have been possible without him. Fo real. LOL he’s honestly so excited about being a daddy and our baby girl is going to be so lucky to have him in her life.
I’m pretty lucky too, though. Not only do I have an amazing hubby, but I’ve also got the most supportive family in the world.
Ok and can we talk about this cake for a minute? How pretty is that?! Even better? It tasted delicious.

So again, a huge shoutout to my momma for making this such a special day for us. Riley’s got one cool grandma, and I’d be a hot mess without you!
So that’s about it! Glad I got to share baby Riley’s shower with you guys! What do you think? Wasn’t the little pumpkin theme so cute?
Congratulations! looks like an absolutely love day!
Aw, such a cute theme. Those cake pops look amazing! Yum. I like the idea of making the picture book the guest post. Great way to keep it around for your daughter when she’s older.
