I can’t believe I’m 27 weeks pregnant already. Like, dude, where does the time go?
Over the next few weeks, Joe and I will be working super hard to get our baby girl’s nursery ready for her arrival, and just the thought of how much we still have to do has me a little stressed.

These days, when I get really stressed out, I like to take an hour or two to relax and unwind, so I thought it’d be fun to share my pregnancy pampering routine with you guys.
A Warm Bath
There are few things I like more than soaking in a warm bath. Being pregnant, you’re not supposed to sit in really hot water which is why they tell you to avoid jacuzzis, but there’s nothing wrong with an occasional warm bath.

I love throwing in a bath bomb and doing absolutely nothing after a long day at work, so when my friend Katie got me this lemon one for my birthday last month I knew it’d be put to good use!
Candles
When I make the effort to treat myself to some relax-y time, I like to go all out. I light candles and really set the mood because let’s be honest – this doesn’t happen very often. I’m obsessed with candles and this one from the Melissa Emily Collection is heaven, so relaxing in the bath while enjoying some fall scents is exactly what I’ll be doing until our baby arrives this December.
Eye, Hair, and Face Masks
Cucumber eye pads? Yes please! A pampering session really isn’t a pampering session unless you’re using a whole bunch of beauty products. I have so many hair and face masks that I never have time to use, so on these rare occasions, I like to treat myself to products like these that leave me feeling nice and refreshed.
Yummy Snacks
These days I’m hungry ALL THE TIME for ALL THE THINGS, so when I’m sitting in the tub, I need something to snack on. But as much as I want to eat everything in sight, I’ve been looking for healthy snacks that are good for both me and the baby.
I just discovered these Sejoyia Coco-Roons and they’re awesome. These superfood cookies are organic, gluten-free, don’t have any refined sugar, and you can pick them up in Walmart’s gluten-free section. I love that they’re made with just a handful of ingredients that I can actually pronounce (no weird chemicals) and that they actually provide nutritional value. AKA, I don’t have to feel guilty about eating them!
The brownie flavored Coco-Roons are made with organic cocoa and have a nice rich flavor, while the lemon ones are light and refreshing. I like them both, just depends on my mood.
So yea, in a nutshell, that’s how I’m treating myself these days. Nothing too fancy, just a couple hours of me-time in a nice comfy robe, doing nothing. Man, it feels good.
Now tell me! Preggo or not, how are YOU treating yourself these days? What do your pampering sessions look like? Any ride or die products I should try? Let me know!
And if you’re interested in giving these Coco-Roons a shot, take advantage of the $0.75 off ibotta offer when you purchase them at Walmart. Plus, you’ll get an additional $.50 for redeeming the rebate on 3 different shopping trips! Check them out and let me know what you think!
We love reading your blog and feel like a bathtub and relaxation are in the near future 🙂 Good luck with your baby!!
