Hey guys, happy hump day! And also – Happy Halloween! If you guys follow along on YouTube, I shared Riley’s first visit to the Pumpkin Patch earlier this week. But today I figured I’d share more of her pumpkin patch pictures because honestly, she’s so stinking cute and I just can’t handle it.
So to start things off, the pumpkin patch we went to was a local pumpkin patch in Miami, and we loved it. It was at Central Presbyterian Church, 12455 SW 104 ST – right outside the church. Now there weren’t any activities or hay rides or anything crazy like that, but it was a quiet little pumpkin patch with tons of pumpkins, making it the ideal place to get some great pumpkin patch pictures.
Given that this was Riley’s first time at a pumpkin patch, I honestly didn’t really know what to expect. Would she like it? Would she hate it? Would she just be cranky the whole time? Well, let’s just say it took her a while to warm up to it.

To keep her entertained, I brought her this little pumpkin book that I’ve been reading to her – getting her ready for her pumpkin patch visit. Makes for a cute photo prop, too.
Anyway, we tried putting her down on the floor several times to get some pictures of her playing with the pumpkins, but for the most part, all she wanted to do was be held. Guess she didn’t want to get her jumper dirty.

BTW, I got so many comments from you guys asking where her outfit was from, so here it is. It’s this one from Cat & Jack that I got her at Target.
Eventually, we sat her down by the little pumpkins, and she seemed to like those a lot better. I guess she felt more comfortable around the pumpkins her size LOL!
We ended up taking home a couple of these teeny tiny pumpkins because they were so darn cute. These are perfect to paint and use for DIY crafts and I think they sold them to us for $0.50 each.
Riley absolutely loves being outside, so once she got over her initial fear of the giant pumpkins, she had a great time. Eventually, all she wanted to do was crawl all over the floor and her germaphobe grandma was having a tiny panic attack.

I was just happy that she sat still for a few minutes so I was able to capture these cute pumpkin patch pictures. Ughhh I can’t believe she’s already 10 months old!
The pumpkin patch was decorated super cute with tons of scarecrows and benches you could sit on with cute harvest backgrounds. They created several photo spots where you could just sit and take photos, exactly what you need when you have a tired, screechy baby.

Once I tortured her enough with all the pumpkin patch pictures, it was then time to actually pick out a pumpkin to take home. There were plenty to choose from though, so that wasn’t too much of a challenge.
I tried to let her help us pick one out, but she wasn’t super interested. By this time, she was 100% over the pumpkin patch, and she just wanted food – a girl after my own heart.
Now that I’m a mom, I’m so excited for the rest of Fall and the whole holiday season. There’s seriously nothing better than experiencing new things like this through the eyes of your little ones, and IDK, everything just seems so much more exciting now with Riley around.
I’m so glad we got to cross this off our Fall bucket list, and I’m so looking forward to all the fun things we have planned for the rest of the season. If you have a pumpkin patch nearby, I highly recommend checking one out and taking some cute pumpkin patch pictures! It’s the perfect place to make some fun fall memories, and capture them on camera.
