You guys! There’s seriously nothing I love more than a product that makes the whole getting ready process so darn easy. Because, you know… this stay at home super busy mama does NOT have a ton of time these days to get ready. Ya feel me?
So today I’m showing you how I use this new amazing hair tool that I’m seriously obsessed with.
I get super soft, silky, shiny, pretty-lookin’ hair and it legit takes about 15 minutes.
So here’s my new bff… it’s the One-Step Hair Dryer and Styler by Revlon Hair Tools.
Now I know…I know… it’s got a pretty long name, but that’s because it’s a two-in-one product and it’s seriously a game changer.
So here’s how I use it.
STEP #1: WASH + COMB OUT YOUR HAIR
Before you style your hair, it’s always a good idea to brush it out. IDK what it is about my hair lately, but it gets tangled in a matter of seconds, and after I get out of the shower, it’s the worst! So start the styling process with your hair ready to go. I promise you, it’s just the easiest way to do it. K? Thanks.
STEP #2: SECTION OUT YOUR HAIR
I guess this isn’t technically something you HAVE to do, but I find it so much easier to style my hair in sections. Now I don’t go crazy and section my hair out into 8 different sections or anything like that, but I section it into 4 parts. Front right, back right, front left, and back left. I then take the front section of my hair on both sides and clip them up so they’re out of the way to start.
STEP #3: SLOWLY BRUSH SMALL SECTIONS
Yep, that’s all there is to it, guys! Just turn the tool on high or low (depending on your hair type/preference) and pass the tool through your hair like you would if you were brushing your hair.
I like to do these two back sections first and really take the time to smooth it all out.
Now these days, I don’t really have a whole lot of patience (which is why I usually end up air drying my hair), but using the One-Step Hair Dryer and Styler, my entire hair was dry in about 15 minutes.
The key is to just really take your time with it. Start at the root and then work your way down each section of hair. Obviously the smaller the section, the faster it’ll dry, but you could honestly just brush your hair with the tool over and over again and it’ll get the job done.
Regardless, it’s way faster than using a regular dryer and a brush separately. Even better? The results are just as good as a professional blowout – (and way cheaper).
So like, where can you get this baby?
The Revlon Pro Collection One-Step Hair Dryer and Styler is now available online atUlta.comin this exclusive holiday color! It’s definitely the perfect gift for the holiday season, so get one for yourself and stick it under the tree before anyone notices!
Step #4: FINISH DRYING ALL SECTIONS
Okay, so once I’m done with the back sections of my hair, I let the rest of my hair down, and repeat the styling process. I think my favorite thing about using this tool is how silky-smooth and shiny my hair looks once it’s all done, and that’s thanks to the IONIC TECHNOLOGY® that produces salon-like results from home in just ONE step.
It’s efficient. I like it.
Step #5: TAKE A MILLION SELFIES B/C YOUR HAIR LOOKS AMAZING
So this is the finished product, my friends! No joke, it took under 20 minutes and my hair was super wet when I started. This is exactly the kind of thing that gives me that little extra boost in confidence that I need (since I’m always in sweat pants and a messy bun these days) and just like that, I’m ready to tackle my never-ending to-do list.
Oh, PS, you know what else is great about it? It’s so easy to travel with! This is literally all you need to pack in your suitcase for your hair. Easy peasy.
So yea, it’s definitely a new essential of mine, and I think it’s worth checking out!
