Joe and I just got back from an AMAZING vacation! We visited Napa and San Francisco and I already want to go back!
This was my first time in California, and guys, it was drop dead gorgeous.
I’ll be posting more about our trip over the next couple of weeks, but today I want to tell you about the STUNNING resort we stayed in while in Napa, The Silverado Resort & Spa.
The property currently consists of 439 one bedroom condominium suites, two championship 18‐hole Robert Trent Jones Jr. golf courses, 17 plexi‐paved tennis courts, ten swimming pools, three restaurants, and a 16,000 square foot spa, equipped with exercise facilities and a salon.
Definitely lots to do! Joe and I only spent two nights in Napa, but our time at Silverado was so worth it.
First of all, the grounds are beautiful.
The entire property is super well-kept, with lots of bright flowers, something that I LOVE.
And when you walk through the main house which serves as the lobby and general gathering area, there’s a cozy patio with amazing views of the golf course, the perfect place to hang out after a long day of wine tasting.
We also loved The Grill, Silverado’s on-site restauraunt.
Seriously, guys, look at this steak.
Yea, I was a very happy camper.
It was just so nice to spend time walking around the campus because the buildings were so pretty.
Lots of Instagram material, for sure!
Our room was a little far away from the main building, so sometimes we’d call the front desk and their shuttle service would pick us up, but other times we preferred to walk so we could relax, unwind, and get a little exercise in.
Our room was perfect, though. Quiet, and super homey. The rooms each have a little patio area, so it was nice to sit out and enjoy a glass of wine in between activities.
Again, lots of pretty flowers!
But I think our favorite place at Silverado was The Market! It’s the cutest market that serves breakfast and Starbucks coffee. It’s also a place where you can pick up toiletries you might have forgotten, and all the supplies you need for your own wine tasting- wine, cheese, sandwiches, tons of stuff in there!
Joe and I spent a lot of time at The Market, grabbing breakfast before our wine tastings, and relaxing by the fire pit.
We couldn’t have asked for a better experience at Silverado Resort & Spa, so if you’re planning a trip to Napa anytime soon, this is where you want to stay!

Yes!! DO IT!! Yea, my mom did all the research and found Silverado, and I’m really happy that she’s such a great Google-er. This place was GORGEOUS and everything we could have wanted from a resort in Napa. Lived up to the hype for sure!
I’ve only driven through Napa, but it’s definitely on my bucket list. Glad you guys had such a great time!
Thanks, Allie!! Definitely gotta do it! Curious- what’s your favorite place to visit? Joe and I are trying to figure out where our next vacation will be to.
